  1.             Function Keys
  2. --------------------------------------------------------------------

  4. There are a number of function keys through F1 - F11 defined by 
  5. kaos. A description of major function keys are given below.
  6.  
  7. F1  A toggle switch for enabling and disabling the clipping of data 
  8.     outside the drawing box area. When clipped, data are not 
  9.     recorded to memory.
  10.  
  11. F2  A toggle switch for turing on and off the alert mode. 
  12. If the alert mode is off, the pop-up confirmation windows are suppressed.
  13. Actions associated with function keys are always performed without
  14. confirmation. The messages are printed in the parent window.
  15.  
  16. F3  Reset the panel item values for a starting point to the last 
  17.     point of the previous orbit.
  18.  
  19. F4  Recover lost parameter space data.
  20.  
  21. F5  Recover lost phase space data.
  22.  
  23. F7  Extend the number of digits shown in the panel items to double
  24.     precision.
  25.  
  26. F8  Reset the "top box" sizes to be the current box sizes.
  27.  
  28. F9  A toggle switch for enabling and disabling the function mode.  In
  29.     the function mode, one can plot and colorcode user-defined 
  30.     functions.

  32. F10 A toggle switch for turning on and off the recording mode. When 
  33.     the recording mode is off, orbit data are just displayed and 
  34.     not recorded in memory.  This is handy for a large dynamical 
  35.     system.

  37. F11 A toggle switch for turning on and off the text input mode. When 
  38.     the text input mode is on, one can enter textual information 
  39.     onto the canvas drawing area for commenting. This is useful 
  40.     when dumping a raster image of the graphics or making slides.
